Meeder Development and Meedcor Realty were founded in 1984 by John T. Meeder to develop, market and manage real estate. In his early years, John gained an interest in real estate from his father, who sold real estate. He then helped to pay his way through college by starting a line striping company that striped parking lots all along the east-coast for major real estate developers. He sold the business, Meeder Line Striping, which still exists to this day. This hands on experience led to further interest in the development field and eventually to Meeder Development and Meedcor Realty. 

“Developing real estate is a very creative process and requires a lot of personal contact,” says Meeder. “I thoroughly enjoy working with people to help them meet their needs. I also thrive on the challenges of working to creatively solve a tough real estate problem.”

Currently, the companies employ 3 full time and 1 part time employee.
